It is crucial to stop this crime before it grows further,” he said. A viral video has covered social media which shows an auto-rickshaw driver narrowly escaping death, highlighting how a split-second can make the difference between life and death. In the clip, the driver can be seen stopping the auto rickshaw on the road just moments before a massive billboard crashes down, leaving the auto completely destroyed. But the auto driver saved himself by coming out of the auto just before the billboard crashed on to it.  Close Call Caught on Camera The viral footage, shared widely across platforms, shows a towering hoarding displaying a Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) advertisement collapsing, reportedly due to heavy rainfall. As the structure began to tilt dangerously, an auto-rickshaw moving in the same direction suddenly became trapped in its path. Seconds later, the enormous hoarding came crashing down, flattening the auto. The scene underscores how a fraction of a second can mean the difference between life and death. Comments From the Users One of the users commented that Yamraj was on leave, whereas another one commented that this is a missed call from Yamraj. A third one wrote, “Even LIC billboard selling LIC's policy.” As the tagline of LIC is “LIC, Zindagi ke saath bhi, zindagi ke baad bhi.” The video also captures an eyewitness who raised an urgent alarm as the hoarding began to topple, helping alert the driver in time to avoid disaster. While the exact location is not fully confirmed, reports suggest the incident occurred in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Though the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified by ABP Live English. Inches From Disaster The driver’s escape was nothing short of miraculous. A few seconds separated him from being crushed under that billboard, and his quick reflexes prevented a potentially fatal accident. Although, the bystanders were shouting that someone was inside the auto and the video also showed the gate of the vehicle opening up.  The hoarding, positioned in the middle of the road, gave the impression of a gate as it fell, and another vehicle traveling from the opposite direction was also struck by the structure. A Previous Incident  This incident is reminiscent of previous tragedies caused by unstable billboards. In August 2023, a similar collapse in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area claimed 17 lives and injured more than 75 people. Such events serve as stark reminders of the dangers posed by poorly secured structures, especially during adverse weather conditions.

For the price, subscribers gain access to over 400 games playable across Xbox consoles, PC, and cloud platforms, including more than 75 day-one releases annually. The Ultimate plan also bundles EA Play, Ubisoft+ Classics, Fortnite Crew subscription starting November, and enhanced Xbox Cloud Gaming at 1440p. Meanwhile, the Premium plan, which replaces the previous Standard tier, is priced at $14.99 in the US and Rs 699 in India, up from Rs 619. This plan offers over 200 games, cloud gaming, Xbox rewards, online multiplayer, and new Xbox-published titles within a year of launch. The Essential plan, the successor to Game Pass Core, now costs Rs 499 in India (up from Rs 349) while remaining $9.99 in the US, giving players access to over 50 games, cloud gaming, Xbox rewards, and multiplayer features. PC Game Pass pricing also saw a sharp rise, now Rs 939 per month in India, compared to Rs 449 earlier. Expanded Game Library and Added Perks Microsoft has added more than 45 new titles to Xbox Game Pass, including Hogwarts Legacy for Ultimate and Premium subscribers.  Other notable additions include a variety of Assassin’s Creed games, Far Cry series entries, and remastered classics like Warcraft I, II, and III. Maharashtra registered 1,15,125 new vehicles during the 10-day Navratri and Dussehra period this year, marking a 7.37 percent increase over 1,07,226 registrations during the corresponding festive window last year. As per vehicle registration data of the transport department, from September 22 to October 2, of the total 1,15,125 vehicles registered statewide during this period, 70,381 were two-wheelers (excluding mopeds) and 29,909 were cars (excluding taxis). In comparison, last year saw registration of 1,07,226 vehicles, including 71,428 two-wheelers and 22,817 cars, between October 2 and October 12, 2024. In the wake of the GST rate cut implemented last month, increase in vehicle registrations was expected this year as it has made automobiles more affordable and stimulated demand in the sector, officials said. According to data, Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) recorded the highest number of registrations in the state, with 13,885 vehicles (7,833 two-wheelers and 4,635 cars), followed by Pimpri Chinchwad with 9,194 vehicles (4,891 two-wheelers and 3,608 cars). Last year Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad RTOs had seen registration of 13671 vehicles (8945 bikes and 3551 cars) and 7793 vehicles (4608 bikes and 2456 cars), respectively. However, Mumbai and its Metropolitan Region (MMR) did not witness any significant growth in vehicle registration numbers. MMR, which includes areas such as Thane, Kalyan and Greater Mumbai, saw a slight dip in vehicle registrations, recording 29,254 this year as against 30,688 during the same period in 2024. In Greater Mumbai alone, 12,216 vehicles were registered, marginally down from 12,303 last year, as per official data. In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Thane RTO reported 4,112 registrations (2,383 two-wheelers and 985 cars), followed by Kalyan RTO, which saw 3,904 registrations (2,584 two-wheelers and 1,020 cars). The figures for the festive period last year stood at 4,399 and 3,839, respectively. In Mumbai, vehicle registrations were led by the Wadala RTO, which has jurisdiction of entire eastern suburbs, with 3,668 registrations, followed by Tardeo RTO (3,192), Borivali RTO (2,824), and Andheri RTO (2,532). Tardeo RTO has jurisdiction of island city, Andheri RTO from Bandra to Jogeshwari and Borivali RTO from Goregaon to Dahisar, respectively.
