Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Launch Next Year And Get More Features From XEV

Mahindra is readying a facelifted version of the XUV700 as it has been around for a while an update will bolster its grip in the premium SUV space. The XUV700 has been fending off new competition ever since its launch and Mahindra will tweak the SUV to take styling cues from the XEV9e. The XUV700 most likely will get a mildly altered front end and will get new alloy wheels while the flush door handles will remain.

The rear tail lamps could be tweaked too. We will see the majority of the changes for the interior where the features and the design would be upgraded. The features list could be taking some of the talked about features from the XEV9e.  It could also get the latest technology. Space would more or less remain the same although here some more features could be added to the rear seat occupants.

We don't expect any changes in the powertrain department and it will retain the existing set of petrol and diesel engines. The XUV700 has been around since 2021 and recently a new special edition was launched but till date no mechanical changes have been done. Sales of the XUV700 have settled down to around 6500 units while it was above 7000 units some months back.

Compared to rivals, the XUV700 sells a lot more and outsells most of the cars except for the Innova Hycross which sells more here. The facelifted XUV700 is expected to keep the premium SUV going strong and increase its sales further with upcoming rivals being expected in this segment.
