Pakistani Man Breaks TV With Bat After Another Loss To India, Video Goes Viral

IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026: After India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in the T20 World Cup Group A match on Sunday, one disappointed fan took his anger out on his television set. A now-viral video shows Waqar Azam from Peshawar smashing his TV set with a cricket bat. “India defeated Pakistan again, and I just broke my TV in frustration,” Azam wrote while sharing the video on his Facebook page.  The video shows him standing in what appears to be an empty room, repeatedly smashing the TV with his bat. Even after breaking the old TV set into two pieces, he continued the outburst. Azam flipped the television over and smashed the screen as well. He also added two angry and one broken heart emoticons to the video.  Watch The Video Below:  His video, as expected, drew significant engagement on Facebook. It received over 16,000 reactions and 1,400 reshares. Many flooded the comments section with jokes, criticism, and sympathy. One person wrote, “Break LED TV not the TV used by Jinnah.” “Can you breathe properly?” asked another.  A third joked, “TV business is on top in Pakistan since they have started playing in world cups.” “Pakistan wickets falling like their Air base, but made one run extra from 2024 World Cup,” said yet another social media user.  Several Pakistan supporters who attended the match spoke to the media about their disappointment. One Pakistani fan, who went to watch the match, said, “I am very disappointed. I come every time to watch their matches and end up getting humiliated. They never play for the 22 crore people of this country, the flag, the name PAKISTAN on their jerseys. Have pity on me (Mujh par taras khaein).”  Another told news agency ANI that losing to India has now become a routine to Pakistan. “I think it has become a routine matter now. I was a little hopeful that we would win the match and at least give a fight. But it is like a routine matter.”  “We do not have answers to Bumrah. We cannot face Hardik. This is the same situation. Well played, Team India, as always. If this kind of performance continues, then we cannot beat India. The Indian team is very good, and we accept this thing.” IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026 Following the win, India extended its dominant head-to-head record over Pakistan in T20 World Cups to 8-1 and confirmed its spot in the Super 8s. India remains at the top of Group A with three wins in three matches, while Pakistan has dropped to third with two wins and one loss.

MG Majestor First Preview: Bold Size Meets Feature-Rich Cabin

The Majestor is trying to be two things in being a big tough ladder frame SUV with off-roading in mind while it also has plenty of features for premium SUV buyers as well. Can it succeed in both? We had a good look around the car and while we are yet to drive it, we will share our impressions of the interior, space and the features on offer. How does it look? The Majestor is huge and easily dwarfs other SUVs for its sheer length which is above 5m. Add in the slim DRLs at the side and the huge black grille which can swallow a hatchback and you have an SUV which looks imposing. Unlike the Gloster, the Majestor uses less chrome and looks meaner with a tougher look. The huge size means even the 19-inch alloys look somewhat small but the big, boxy look is easily the biggest talking point here of the car. What about the interiors? It takes some effort to climb in but the fixed running board helps. The doors are huge and close with a reassuring thud while inside it feels more rugged than the Gloster with an all black look with silver bits. The quality is decent but some materials and especially the lower half of the dashboard could have been better. The large touchscreen is slick to use and the new menu interface is easy as well. The 360 degree camera has a lovely, lag free display too. The large seats are comfortable and along with being electric, they offer massage too which works very well along with ventilation. The rear seat with the captain seat feature offers ample cushioning plus very good headroom/legroom along with a separate climate control. However, goodies like a table/blinds or a boss mode are missing. Features list includes twin wireless chargers, panoramic sunroof, 12 speaker JB audio system, Level 2 ADAS, 360 degree camera, 10 off-road modes and 3 lockable differentials. The massive boot opens up to 1350 litres and it has a powered tailgate too. What are the engine options? There is only one and that is a twin turbo 2.0l diesel which generates 215bhp and 478Nm with an 8-speed automatic. 4X2 and 4x4 are there too with 10 off-road modes available with the 4x4 with serious off-road ability. Ground clearance is terrific at 215mm and the water wading capability was on display with the way it handled deep water levels while off-road it is more than capable enough too with good articulation. Worth waiting for? Expect prices to be above the Gloster when the Majestor goes on sale in April while it is surely more premium than a Fortuner with more technology while off-road it matches it as well. However, the biggest strength of the Majestor is its road presence and the size. The Fortuner could have its first rival since the Endeavour exited our market.

ABP Live Doc Talk: Know The Silent Role Of Insulin Resistance In Pancreatic And Liver Cancer

Diabetes and insulin resistance are often spoken about in the context of heart disease, obesity, or lifestyle disorders. But what many people don’t realise is that these metabolic conditions also have a strong and growing link with certain cancers especially liver cancer and pancreatic cancer. According to doctors, insulin resistance plays a central role in this connection. ALSO READ: Acne-Prone Skin? Here’s How To Prepare Your Skin For Summer Now What Is Insulin Resistance And Why Does It Matter? Insulin resistance means where the body’s insulin is not functioning effectively. As a result, the pancreas begins to produce increasingly higher amounts of insulin to maintain the blood sugar levels in check. Consequently, the body experiences persistently high levels of insulin. The most important driver of insulin resistance is obesity, particularly excess fat around the abdomen. When a person has increased visceral (deep abdominal) fat, insulin finds it harder to do its job. As a result, the pancreas is forced to work overtime. Insulin, apart from regulating blood sugar, is also a potent growth factor. High levels of insulin in the body can promote cell growth and create a state of chronic inflammation a condition that is considered very favourable for cancer development. How Diabetes Raises The Risk Of Liver And Pancreatic Cancer In cases of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, the risk of developing certain cancers are higher.Regarding liver cancer, research indicates that the risk of developing the condition can increase by two to three times. In the case of pancreatic cancer, the risk can increase by 1.5 to two times. In India, where diabetes rates are steadily rising, this association becomes even more relevant. Uncontrolled diabetes can cause fat to accumulate in the liver, a condition known as Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD), also known as fatty liver disease. Over a period of time, MASLD can advance to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), where inflammation occurs. This sequence of events, from diabetes to insulin resistance to fatty liver to inflammation of the liver, can ultimately result in liver fibrosis and liver cancer. The Unique, Two-Way Link With Pancreatic Cancer Pancreatic cancer has a bidirectional relationship with diabetes. On one hand, long-standing diabetes and insulin resistance can increase the risk of developing pancreatic cancer. On the other hand, a sudden onset of diabetes, especially in an older adult with no strong family history or obvious lifestyle cause, can sometimes be an early warning sign of an underlying pancreatic cancer. Doctors emphasise that new-onset diabetes should not be ignored and must be evaluated carefully, particularly when accompanied by unexplained weight loss or digestive symptoms. Reducing Risk: What Can Be Done? The most important step to reduce the risk of both liver and pancreatic cancer is to improve insulin resistance. This begins with lifestyle changes.Reducing visceral obesity is key. One such simple measure is the measurement of waist size. In men, it should be less than 90 cm, and in women, it should be less than 80 cm. When the waist size reduces, it is an indication that the insulin sensitivity has improved. This can be done by creating a calorie deficit, meaning eating fewer calories and burning more calories through exercise. Doctors recommend at least 40 to 45 minutes of brisk exercise daily. Exercise helps insulin function better in the body, and therefore, the body does not require high insulin levels. In some situations, the use of medicines may be necessary. Metformin is one such drug that is commonly prescribed to people with diabetes. It helps increase the sensitivity of insulin. However, the choice to start medicines should always be made by the treating doctor. IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026: Yuzvendra Chahal Wins ‘Off-Field’ Match, Drops Hilarious Cartoon For Fans

The T20 World Cup 2026 Group A clash between India and Pakistan is currently underway at the R Premadasa Stadium today, February 15, in Sri Lanka. After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha elected to bowl first. In a notable moment, both captains skipped the customary handshake, a continuation of the no-handshake policy implemented last year during the Asia Cup following the Pahalgam attack. As the nail-biting thriller is underway, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal added some humour to the tense atmosphere by sharing a funny cartoon for fans, calling it the “best way” to play the game. Yuzvendra Chahal’s Hilarious Cartoon “Best way to play,” wrote Chahal while sharing the cartoon on X (formerly Twitter). He completed the caption with two laughing emojis.  The cartoon shows him sitting casually on the pitch, smiling at the camera and holding up his index and middle fingers, while his bat lies beside him. The cartoon features Chahal playfully shouting ‘statue’ just as Pakistani bowler Tariq is about to deliver the ball - a reference to the childhood game where players must freeze in the same pose or lose if they move. How Did Social Media Users React? The post, since being shared an hour ago, has been gaining significant traction online. Many even took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.  “Best way to watch,” said one social media user while sharing a picture of Chahal sitting in the same pose in real life.  Another added, “You are still exposing the full wicket  stumps... not the right technique.” “That was a nice one,” commented a third.  A fourth shared, “Yuzvendra Chahal never misses an opportunity to mock Pakistan.” “That’s our gully cricket strategy,” read yet another comment.  India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Match Both teams entered the game unbeaten in Group A, with India sitting at the top of the table due to a better net run-rate. India opened their campaign with a win over the USA in Mumbai, followed by victory against Namibia in New Delhi. Pakistan, on the other hand, defeated Netherlands in Colombo before producing a stronger performance against the USA. India have historically dominated Pakistan in Men’s T20 World Cup meetings, winning seven of their eight encounters. Pakistan’s only win came in 2021, when Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan powered them to a 10-wicket victory in Dubai. All three World Cup matches played at this venue have been won by the team batting first.

Renault Triber Facelift 2025 Mileage, Review

The Triber has been around for a long time and it finally received its first big update. The facelifted Triber gets a new look as well as a new interior with added features while its powertrain remains the same. The Triber looks better though and the new bonnet, logo as well as the grille lends it a more premium stance. The new bumper, LED lights and the SUV-like styling makes it look much more appealing while the wheel covers actually look better than some alloys! There are functional roof rails too. Inside, the cabin needed an update and they have done exactly that. There is a new pattern, beige and black look along with being better looking too. Feature wise you now get 6 airbags, cruise control, new 8inch screen touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, tyre pressure monitoring system etc. Storage is excellent with twin glove boxes and enough space in the middle. Plus despite its small size, the excellent packaging means space at the second row is surprisingly good too. The second row is actually quite comfy and has enough space for 6 footers too. The third row is usable but again it's for children but being seated so close to the tailgate is an issue. The 72bhp 1.0l continues and here, it is decent in the city but with luggage or passengers, it is clearly lacking power on the highways along with some 3 cylinder noise too. The engine is decent in the city with the manual but clearly needs more power here. You need to downshift to extract the power and drive it hard to make this engine work. That said, the suspension and the ground clearance is very good along with composure at high speeds. We saw an efficiency of 14kmpl which is decent. At around Rs 5.6 lakh starting, the Triber is the most affordable 7 seater but the good thing is that it looks good, has decent space and is well packaged along with being tough. It does give a lot of value for money even if the performance is underwhelming. What we like- Practical, affordable, better equipped now, reasonably spacious for the money What we do not- lacks performance, refinement

Heart Health Alert: From High BP To Breathlessness, 4 Early Signs You Shouldn’t Ignore

Could your body be quietly signalling a heart problem? Many people worry about blocked arteries or hidden heart disease but assume that only advanced hospital scans can detect trouble. The truth is, while you cannot directly see plaque build-up at home, your body often provides early warning signs, if you know what to look for. From monitoring your blood pressure to noticing symptoms while climbing stairs, these four simple methods can offer valuable insight into your heart and arterial health. Spotting problems early could make all the difference. ALSO READ: Blood Sugar Control Diet: Why Broccoli Is A Smart Choice For People Managing Diabetes 1. Monitor Your Blood Pressure Regularly (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) One of the easiest and most effective ways to assess heart health at home is by checking your blood pressure consistently. An upper-arm automatic digital blood pressure monitor is generally considered the most reliable option. Before measuring, sit quietly for at least five minutes. Keep your feet flat on the floor, your back supported, and avoid talking during the reading. Take two readings in the morning and two at night for seven consecutive days. Then calculate the average. A consistent reading above the normal range may indicate increased pressure on your arteries. Typically, a reading close to 120/80 mmHg is considered healthy for most adults. Persistently elevated blood pressure can strain blood vessels and significantly raise the risk of heart disease and stroke. If your readings are frequently high, it may be time to consult a healthcare professional. 2. Check Your Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Another important screening tool is the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI). According to Mayo Clinic, this test compares the blood pressure in your ankles with that in your arms. It helps identify the risk of peripheral artery disease — a condition linked to narrowed arteries and increased cardiovascular risk. The test requires either two blood pressure cuffs or one device used sequentially on the arm and ankle. Once measured, the ankle pressure is divided by the arm pressure. If the ratio is less than 0.90, it may suggest narrowing of the leg arteries and a higher likelihood of heart-related complications. Although often performed in clinical settings, the ABI is recognised as a reliable early screening method for detecting circulatory problems before symptoms become severe. 3. Get A Lipid Profile Test (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Cholesterol levels play a critical role in arterial health. A lipid profile test measures total cholesterol, LDL (often referred to as “bad” cholesterol), HDL (“good” cholesterol), and triglycerides. Many laboratories now offer at-home sample collection services, making testing more accessible. In most cases, a 12-hour fast is required before the test unless your doctor advises otherwise. High LDL cholesterol levels increase the risk of plaque build-up inside arteries, which can eventually restrict blood flow to the heart. Over time, this can lead to coronary artery disease, heart attack, or stroke. Tracking your lipid profile regularly allows you to identify risk early and take preventive action through diet, exercise, or medical advice if required. 4. Notice Symptoms While Climbing Stairs (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Sometimes, your body reveals more than any machine can. Try climbing four floors of stairs at a steady pace. Pay close attention to how you feel. If you experience chest tightness, unusual breathlessness, pain spreading to the jaw or arm, dizziness, or extreme fatigue, stop immediately. These symptoms, particularly if they occur during physical exertion, may point to exertional angina, a potential indicator of reduced blood flow to the heart due to narrowed arteries. Also note how quickly symptoms appear and whether they worsen with activity. Persistent or recurring discomfort during exertion should never be ignored. When To Take These Signs Seriously While these home checks cannot replace medical imaging or professional diagnosis, they can highlight early warning signs. Heart disease often develops silently over years. By the time obvious symptoms appear, the condition may already be advanced. Regular monitoring, awareness of physical signals, and timely consultation with a healthcare provider can significantly reduce long-term risk. Your heart works tirelessly every second. The question is, are you paying attention to what it’s trying to tell you? [Disclaimer: The information provided in the article is intended for general informational purposes only. Blood Sugar Control Diet: Why Broccoli Is A Smart Choice For People Managing Diabetes

Diabetes is increasingly affecting people across all age groups, making smart dietary choices more important than ever. Alongside medical care and lifestyle changes, what you eat plays a crucial role in managing blood sugar levels effectively. Health experts suggest that incorporating nutrient-dense, low glycaemic vegetables into your daily meals can make a meaningful difference. One such powerful green vegetable is broccoli. Packed with fibre, vitamins and protective plant compounds, broccoli is gaining attention as a natural ally in blood sugar management and overall wellness. If you are looking for simple, sustainable changes to support stable glucose levels without extreme dieting, this everyday vegetable could be a valuable addition to your plate. ALSO READ: 7 Ways Chia Seeds Improve Gut Health And Boost Overall Wellness Why Broccoli Is Beneficial For Blood Sugar Control (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Broccoli is considered a low glycaemic vegetable, with a glycaemic index of around 10. This means it has minimal impact on blood sugar levels when consumed. Unlike refined carbohydrates that cause sharp spikes in glucose, broccoli releases energy slowly, helping to maintain steady blood sugar levels throughout the day. It contains powerful phytochemicals that act as protective agents in the body. These compounds help reduce oxidative stress, which is often linked to diabetes-related complications. Because both the florets and stems are edible, you benefit from its full nutritional profile. Including broccoli in salads, stir-fries or lightly steamed dishes can support metabolic health while adding variety to meals. Rich In Fibre For Better Digestion And Glucose Balance One of broccoli’s standout benefits is its high fibre content. Fibre slows down the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, preventing sudden increases in blood sugar. The insoluble fibre in broccoli also supports healthy bowel movements and improves gut function. A well-balanced gut microbiome plays a role in regulating inflammation and insulin sensitivity. Regular consumption of fibre-rich vegetables like broccoli may enhance gut bacteria diversity, contributing to better overall metabolic balance. This makes broccoli not just a blood sugar-friendly vegetable, but also a digestive health booster. Supports Healthy Weight Management (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Maintaining a healthy weight is essential for managing diabetes effectively. Broccoli is low in calories yet high in volume, meaning it keeps you feeling fuller for longer without adding excess calories. This can help reduce overeating and support gradual, sustainable weight management. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory properties may help reduce internal inflammation, which is often associated with metabolic disorders. Pairing broccoli with other non-starchy vegetables further increases nutrient intake without raising sugar levels. A Simple Step Towards Better Health Incorporating broccoli into daily meals is a practical and accessible dietary adjustment. Whether lightly steamed, roasted or added to soups, this versatile vegetable offers multiple health advantages beyond blood sugar control. Combined with balanced nutrition and regular physical activity, it can contribute to long-term wellness and improved metabolic stability. Small changes often create the biggest impact, and adding more greens to your plate could be the simplest step towards better health. 7 Ways Chia Seeds Improve Gut Health And Boost Overall Wellness

Tiny yet mighty, chia seeds have earned their place among the world’s most talked-about superfoods. These small black and white seeds are packed with fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and plant-based protein, making them a powerhouse for digestive health and overall wellbeing. From supporting smoother digestion to improving heart health and boosting immunity, chia seeds offer benefits that go far beyond their size. If you’re looking to improve your gut health naturally and enhance your daily nutrition without complicated diet plans, this simple ingredient might be the game-changer your body needs. Here are seven powerful, science-backed ways chia seeds can transform your gut and overall wellness. ALSO READ: Eating Rotis From Fridge-Stored Dough? Here’s How It Can Affect Your Health 1. High Fibre Content Supports Healthy Digestion (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Chia seeds are exceptionally rich in dietary fibre, with nearly 10 grams in just two tablespoons. Most of this fibre is soluble, which means it absorbs water and forms a gel-like substance in the gut. This gel slows digestion, allowing nutrients to be absorbed more effectively while promoting smoother bowel movements. Regular fibre intake helps prevent constipation and supports a balanced digestive system. Adding soaked chia seeds to smoothies, yoghurt or overnight oats is an easy way to increase daily fibre intake without drastic dietary changes. Over time, consistent consumption can help regulate bowel movements and reduce bloating, making digestion more comfortable and efficient. 2. Acts As A Natural Prebiotic For Gut Bacteria (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Gut health depends heavily on the balance of good bacteria in the digestive tract. Chia seeds function as a natural prebiotic, meaning they provide nourishment for beneficial bacteria. When these bacteria thrive, they support digestion, enhance nutrient absorption and strengthen the immune system. The fermentable fibre in chia seeds promotes the production of short-chain fatty acids in the colon. These compounds help reduce inflammation in the gut lining and improve overall digestive resilience. A well-fed microbiome can also reduce the risk of digestive disorders and help manage symptoms such as irregular bowel movements. 3. Helps Regulate Blood Sugar Levels (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) One of the most impressive benefits of chia seeds is their ability to stabilise blood sugar. The soluble fibre slows down carbohydrate digestion and sugar absorption, preventing sudden spikes and crashes in glucose levels. Stable blood sugar is crucial for maintaining energy, reducing cravings and preventing overeating. For individuals focused on metabolic health, incorporating chia seeds into meals can help improve insulin sensitivity over time. The gel-forming property of chia seeds creates a slower digestive process. Adding chia seeds to carbohydrate-rich meals may help blunt the glycaemic response. This makes them a smart addition for anyone aiming to maintain steady energy and better overall metabolic wellness. 4. Rich In Omega-3 Fatty Acids For Heart And Brain Health (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Chia seeds are one of the best plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). These healthy fats are known to support cardiovascular health by reducing inflammation and promoting healthy cholesterol levels. A well-functioning digestive system supports nutrient absorption, and omega-3s further enhance systemic wellness by protecting cells from oxidative stress. Regular intake may contribute to improved brain function, better mood regulation and reduced risk of chronic disease. Unlike fish-based sources, chia seeds provide a vegetarian-friendly alternative for omega-3 intake. 5. Supports Health Weight Management (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Because chia seeds expand significantly when soaked, they promote a prolonged feeling of fullness. This satiety effect can help reduce unnecessary snacking and manage portion sizes naturally. The combination of fibre, protein and healthy fats works synergistically to curb appetite while supporting balanced digestion. When digestion is steady and blood sugar is controlled, cravings become less intense and energy remains consistent. Incorporating chia seeds into breakfast can help regulate hunger levels throughout the day. While they are not a miracle weight-loss solution, their nutrient density and appetite-controlling properties make them a valuable tool for maintaining a healthy weight sustainably. 6. Packed With Antioxidants That Reduce Inflammation (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) Chronic inflammation can negatively affect digestion, immunity and overall health. Chia seeds contain antioxidants that help neutralise free radicals, reducing oxidative stress within the body. By lowering inflammation, these antioxidants support a healthier gut lining and improve nutrient absorption. A well-protected digestive system is better equipped to defend against harmful pathogens and environmental stressors. Regular inclusion of antioxidant-rich foods like chia seeds contributes to long-term disease prevention and enhanced cellular health. 7. Promotes Detoxification And Hydration (Image Source: ABPLIVE AI) When soaked, chia seeds form a hydrating gel that supports the body’s natural detoxification processes. Adequate hydration is essential for flushing out waste and maintaining smooth digestive movement. The fibre content assists in binding waste materials and supporting their elimination from the body. This process helps maintain internal balance and may reduce feelings of sluggishness or heaviness. Chia water, made by soaking seeds in water with a splash of lemon, has become increasingly popular as a morning wellness ritual. Maha Shivratri 2026: Know How To Prevent Acidity And Bloating While Fasting

(By Dr. Ridhima Khamesra) Maha Shivratri fasting sounds simple on paper. Fruits, milk, sabudana, maybe a bowl of khichdi later. In reality, it’s one of the fastest ways people end up with acidity, bloating, and that heavy chest burn by evening. Not because fasting is wrong, but because the way most people fast goes completely against how digestion works. When food timing changes suddenly, the gut reacts. And if the food choices are all quick sugars and dairy, the reaction is louder. ALSO READ: Maha Shivratri 2026: Simple, Nutritious And Healthy Vrat Recipes To Try Why Acidity Hits Harder During Fasting The stomach doesn’t stop producing acid just because food intake pauses. Acid secretion follows a rhythm. When long gaps are created and then broken with fruit, milk, or fried vrat foods, acid has nothing solid to work on. That’s when burning, nausea, and reflux show up. Bloating comes from a different place. Large fruit bowls, bananas, sweet potatoes, sabudana, and peanuts are all gut-heavy foods. Individually they’re fine. Together, especially on an empty stomach, they ferment. So the problem isn’t fasting. It’s stacking the wrong foods at the wrong time. Start The Day Without Shocking The Gut Beginning the fast with only tea, coffee, or fruit is a mistake. A small protein or fat buffer makes a difference. A bowl of plain curd, a glass of diluted buttermilk, or even soaked almonds can calm acid production instead of triggering it. Raw fruit works better later in the day when digestion is already active. Early morning fruit on an empty stomach is a common acidity trigger. Choose Vrat Foods That Digest, Not Just 'Allowable' Sabudana khichdi, fried patties, and heavy potato preparations slow gastric emptying. That sluggish feeling after eating isn’t fullness. It’s delayed digestion.Better options are lightly cooked vegetables, lauki sabzi, steamed sweet potato, or thin vrat khichdi made with minimal ghee. Portion size matters more than variety. Mixing five vrat foods in one meal overloads the gut. Watch The Milk And Fruit Combination Milk, bananas, and dates are often consumed together during fasting. This combination sits heavy and produces gas. If milk is included, it’s better consumed alone, warm, and not immediately followed by fruit. Adding cardamom or dry ginger to milk helps reduce bloating. Don’t Break The Fast Aggressively After hours of restriction, overeating feels justified. That’s when acidity peaks. Breaking the fast with a light, warm meal allows acid levels to normalise before heavier foods come in. Eating slowly matters more on fasting days than on regular days. Maha Shivratri fasting doesn’t harm digestion. Sudden food gaps, sugar-heavy meals, and poor combinations do. When meals stay simple, warm, and spaced out, the gut stays calm. Fasting should feel light and steady, not like something the stomach has to recover from the next day. ‘Absolutely Disgusting’: Woman Claims She Found Fungus Inside Amul Yoghurt, Seeks FSSAI Action

A woman has claimed that her daughter consumed Amul yoghurt from a pack that had fungus, despite being well within its expiry date. Ruchi Kokcha shared photos on X (formerly Twitter) of the contaminated product and asked the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to take note and necessary action. ‘Fungus Inside Amul Yoghurt’ “Absolutely disgusting to see fungus inside Amul Fruit yoghurt,” wrote the woman while sharing the photos on X (formerly Twitter).  She added, “My daughter peeled half of the cover and had some of the yoghurt. When she removed the entire top cover, we were shocked to see fungus on it. The expiry date is 11/03/26, and yet the contents of the pack are contaminated.” “FSSAI, please note and take action,” she urged the food safety department.  One of the pictures she shared shows the yoghurt packaging with the expiry date clearly visible. Another photo appears to show a dark fungal patch on the peel. The third shows both the container and its peel kept side by side.  Absolutely disgusting to see fungus inside @Amul_Coop Fruit yoghurt. Fungus inside Amul fruit yoghurt. Who is responsible, FSSAI?” She also posted a video explaining the situation and asking who would take responsibility. “I bought this Amul fruit yoghurt, and the expiry date is March 11. So, it is still well in date. When I peeled the cover, I saw there was a fungal patch on the top. We peeled half of it and had some of the contents of this contaminated pack, but when we removed the full cover to eat it fully, we saw this fungus on the top cover,” the woman explained in the video.  She added that she was particularly worried because her daughter had consumed most of the yoghurt before the fungus was noticed. She added, “The entire pack must be contaminated, and I’m really concerned because my daughter had more than half of the pack. I really want to ask who is responsible for it, and if something happened to people who eat such contaminated food by a good company like Amul, who would be responsible?” Food safety is a joke in India. This article will be updated if and when we receive a response.  The company’s customer care has dropped a comment on the woman’s post. The company said that they are “concerned to know about her experience” and asked her to share details with them to help them investigate the case. “We're concerned to know about your experience. Please DM us your contact number, residential address, along with the pin code and the name of the outlet where you purchased the product so we can investigate this further,” read the comment by Amul4Customer on Kokcha’s post.  We're concerned to know about your experience. The post, since being shared on February 13, has garnered over two lakh views and counting. Many even took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.  “This is extremely concerning and unacceptable. A sealed yoghurt pack showing fungus well before the expiry date points to a serious lapse in quality control and food safety. Amul must urgently investigate this batch and ensure such contaminated products never reach consumers, especially when a child’s health is at risk. We urge FSSAI to take immediate cognisance of this complaint, conduct a proper inspection, and initiate strict action as per food safety norms. Food safety is not negotiable. Accountability and transparency are the bare minimum expected,” read a comment.  Another added, “If not refrigerated, fungus would form, right! No point in tagging Amul, question the guy who is selling it!” “Usually, the fungus is at the bottom. So most people don't even see it or eat it. Tip is to open every pack right after delivery and flip the contents to check right at the bottom for fungus,” said a third.  A fourth posted, “This suggests recurring quality lapses, potentially tied to supply chain vulnerabilities in India's dairy sector. Most probably refrigeration issues during transport or storage.” “Food safety is a joke in this country,” read yet another comment.

Heated Exchange Between Minister & Police SP Over Suspension In Land Dispute Case | Video Viral

A sharp exchange took place between Haryana Minister Anil Vij and Kaithal Superintendent of Police Upasana during a committee meeting in Kaithal. The disagreement centred on the suspension of a police officer, with both sides differing over jurisdiction and authority. The matter was later resolved after Deputy Commissioner Aparajita intervened. Allegations Against ASI Sandeep Kumar The controversy relates to ASI Sandeep Kumar, posted with the Karnal Police, who has been accused of fraud in a land dispute. According to details discussed at the meeting, ASI Sandeep allegedly took an advance of ₹7 lakh from a buyer for the sale of land. When the land documents were found to be incorrect, the buyer cancelled the deal and sought a refund. Sandeep allegedly refused to return the money, following which a case was registered at the Titram police station in Kaithal. During the investigation, it was found that Sandeep allegedly used his influence to slow the probe and have the case transferred to the Economic Cell in Karnal. Dispute Over Suspension Powers Minister Anil Vij objected to the developments and directed SP Upasana to immediately suspend the officer. The SP responded that since the policeman was posted in another district, Karnal, she did not have the authority to suspend him. She said she could only report the matter to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG). At this point, the minister reacted strongly, saying, “I can suspend anyone in all of Haryana. Suspend him on my orders.” Haryana: Cabinet Minister Anil Vij and Kaithal SP Upasana had a heated exchange during a grievance committee meeting over a land fraud case involving a police employee. Vij ordered suspension and asked that the DGP be informed pic.twitter.com/NxTjR9zD7r — IANS (@ians_india) February 13, 2026 The SP reiterated that under the rules she could not directly suspend a constable from another district and could only recommend action to a higher authority. Matter Resolved After Clarification The situation eased after further clarification. The minister later said, “That's what I'm saying: write a letter to the DIG, citing my order.” Officials indicated that the episode stemmed from a misunderstanding regarding procedural rules. Under established norms, an SP cannot directly suspend a constable posted in another district and can only forward a recommendation to the competent authority. Anil Vij subsequently accepted this explanation.

ABP Live Doc Talk | Crucial Facts About Irregular Bleeding Every Woman Must Know

Irregular or abnormal bleeding is often dismissed as a minor hormonal issue, but it can be one of the earliest warning signs of cervical abnormalities, including cervical cancer. Bleeding between menstrual cycles, after sexual intercourse, postmenopausal bleeding, or unusually heavy and prolonged periods should never be ignored. Normalising these symptoms or delaying medical consultation can result in late diagnosis and missed opportunities for timely intervention, which may significantly affect treatment outcomes. Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting women in India, accounting for nearly one-fifth of the global burden. It is the second most common cancer among Indian women and among women aged 15–44 years.  Despite this high prevalence, cervical cancer is one of the few preventable cancers, can be detected early at a precancerous stage and is highly curable when diagnosed on time. What Is The Cause Of Cervical Cancer? It is almost exclusively caused by the persistent infection with high-risk types of sexually transmitted infections known as human papillomavirus. While most infections with HPV do indeed resolve themselves, some types persist, leading to abnormal changes in the cervical cells. These precancerous changes, over time, if left untreated, can go on to invasive cervical cancer. HPV also causes cancers of the vulva, vagina, anus, penis, and oropharynx. Who Has A Higher Risk Of Getting Cervical Cancer? Several factors are known to increase a woman's risk: Persistent infection with high-risk types of HPV Early onset of sexual activity Having multiple sexual partners or one partner who has multiple partners "Weakened immunity" could be a result of HIV or long-term immunosuppressive therapy Smoking also causes cervical damage and allows persistence of the virus HPV Multiple pregnancies Poor routine cervical screening How Can Cervical Cancer Be Prevented And Detected Early? Prevention and early detection are the cornerstones of reducing cervical cancer burden: HPV vaccination offers strong protection against the virus responsible for most cervical cancers and is most effective when given before sexual debut. Regular cervical screening, including Pap smears and HPV DNA testing, helps detect precancerous changes before symptoms appear. Healthy lifestyle choices, such as avoiding tobacco, practicing safe sex, maintaining good nutrition, and supporting immune health, further reduce risk. What If The Results Of The Screening Tests Are Abnormal? If women with abnormal screening tests undergo colposcopy. It enables an examination with high magnification of the cervix. Biopsy assists in diagnosing the lesion, specifically in detecting the pre-invasive lesion cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). A high-grade lesion can be adequately treated with LEEP or conisation and thus prevents the progression of cancer. Can Cervical Cancer Be Cured? Yes. Treatment is determined according to the stage of the disease. These modalities of management include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapies, or immunotherapy. In the early stages of this condition, it is largely possible to get cured. In fact, fertility-preserving measures can be taken in selected young patients. In the advanced stages as well, management is effective. “Irregular periods not only are a nuisance associated with menses, but irregular vaginal bleeding can be a lifesaving signal from your cervix.” Early medical attention, HPV vaccination, and screenings can be lifesavers. Cervical cancer can be prevented, detected, and cured if caught in time.
