Tata Harrier EV Tech Review- What Features Are Useful?

The Harrier EV comes stuffed with a lot of features but how well do they work? Let's check them out.

    QLED display

The main 14.5 inch touchscreen is bigger than the standard Harrier ICE but is also the first QLED display. The touchscreen is slick, easy to use and the display indeed is high quality while we did not get any lag. The menu is bundled well with features and it is not very difficult to use. There is also an UPI based in car payment system for charging which is convenient.

    540 degree camera

The 540 degree camera is a useful feature which helps during off-road and the feed quality is pretty good while again we saw no lag. The transparent bonnet feature gives a full view and works like an off-road instructor telling you the way. Useful.

All round camera and blind view monitor

The all around 360 degree camera display could have been better though and the same goes for the blind view monitor which has a slightly grainy display.

    Digital mirror

The digital mirror is perhaps the best and most useful feature which changes the view to a crisp digital feed which helps while it also has a dashcam for in-built recording.

Summon mode, park assist and new key

The new round key looks cool and you use it to activate the summon mode. Now regarding the summon mode, we feel it could work smoother but the park assist is more useful which remembers the last 50m while reversing out of parking spots.

    Off-road assist

While the standard ADAS works pretty well on our roads, the offroad assist is useful as it works at very low speeds while being a cruise control of sorts when going off-road.

    JBL Audio system

The 10-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos sounds good and has a good sound quality while having customisations.

    Drift mode

There is an inbuilt drift mode which we found of no use on a big SUV and is a needless gimmick. Boost mode on the other hand is a better feature which inturn which adds more immediate oomph.
