PM-Kisan June 2025 Payout: Here’s Who Will Get Rs 2,000 And Who Won’t

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has confirmed that the 20th instalment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana will be credited on June 20, 2025. The scheme offers an annual income support of Rs 6,000 to eligible farmers, distributed in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 every four months.

In a recent update, the central government has made it mandatory for farmers to complete their registration and e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) process to be eligible for further disbursals. This means that only those farmers who have completed their formalities will receive the upcoming instalment.

The Ministry said that failure to complete the necessary steps will lead to disqualification from the benefit. The move is aimed at ensuring better targeting and transparency in fund allocation under the PM-KISAN initiative.

How To Register And Complete e-KYC

Farmers can complete their registration via three primary platforms:

    • The PM-Kisan official website https://pmkisan.gov.in
    • The ‘Farmer Registry UP’ mobile app
    • Common Service Centres (CSCs)

To complete the e-KYC process, farmers must:

    1. Visit the PM-Kisan portal and go to the “Farmers Corner”
    2. Click on the “e-KYC” link
    3. Enter their Aadhaar number and registered mobile number
    4. Submit the OTP (One Time Password) received on their mobile
    5. Complete the authentication process

To be eligible, farmers must also ensure the following:

    • A valid Aadhaar card
    • Land ownership documents
    • An active bank account linked to their Aadhaar

This move comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and accountability in delivering benefits to the farming community. With over 11 crore farmers enrolled, PM-KISAN remains one of the largest direct benefit transfer (DBT) schemes globally.
