Oman and Saudi Arabia approve mutual certificates of origin to ease trade

Oman and Saudi Arabia have agreed to recognize each other’s certificates of origin, simplifying trade and reducing costs for manufacturers. The move follows progress on 17 joint initiatives, including the Industrial Integration Project and Factories of the Future. Bilateral trade exceeded US$8 billion in 2024, with efforts underway to streamline procedures and strengthen industrial and supply-chain cooperation.
