The mechanicals have been kept the same which is the 1.0 NA petrol which develops 72hp. This E2O compatible engine comes with either a 5 speed manual gearbox or an AMT. The changes are mainly to the exterior as well as the interior along with more safety.

The exterior has an all new look with a new hood/bumper and grille with LED DRLs plus a grille with new slats. Of course, it has the new Renault logo. It looks more premium than the plain looking earlier model while the new 15 inch alloys again are much better to the eye. There is more black trim and the rear has connected taillamps while the Triber badging is slightly below.

The interiors needed a change too and here it has a new look along with a redesigned dashboard. There is an 8inch floating touchscreen with wireless connectivity while there is new upholstery too. Other features include standard 6 airbags, front parking sensors, welcome and good bye sequence with auto fold mirrors, cruise control and more.

The Triber has a modular seating layout with 5/6/7 seating configurations. There are individual rear AC vents and the boot space as a 5 seater is more than 600 litres.

The new Triber is priced well under Rs 10 lakh with prices starting at Rs 6.2 lakh and goes till Rs 9.16 lakh being the most affordable compact MPV of sorts. Compared to the earlier one, this one brings in much more safety, features and a better design but it still has the same engine while not yet getting the turbo petrol also available on the Kiger.
