Indian-origin man stopped and questioned over immigration status in Chicago; governor says it was ‘because of his skin color’

An Indian-origin US citizen, working for Illinois DOT, was questioned by masked federal agents about his immigration status and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Governor Pritzker condemned the incident as potential racial profiling.
