Indian judoka Arun Kumar withdrawn from 2026 CWG after failing dope test

India's Commonwealth Games campaign suffered a blow as judoka Arun Kumar was ruled ineligible after an adverse finding in an out-of-competition NADA dope test. The promising 73kg judoka, a gold medallist at the 2025 Taipei Asian Open, was set for his CWG debut. His withdrawal reduces India's Glasgow 2026 contingent from 125 to 124 athletes.
