Government to take legal action against unauthorised screenings of Satluj without CBFC certificate

The Centre is weighing legal action over the unauthorized release of the film 'Satluj'. Government sources claim the film was released without obtaining a valid censor certificate. Filmmakers allegedly did not implement 127 recommended cuts by the CBFC. State governments have been instructed to act against unauthorized public screenings of the movie. The film later disappeared from Zee5 in India after its initial release.
