    Germany slashes aid and development budget

    Germany's governing coalition has reduced the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development's budget by 8%, a cut of around €910 million. Development Minister Reem Alabali Radovan warns this will significantly impact international cooperation amid rising global crises. Aid organisations express concern that millions will no longer receive vital food and healthcare.
