    China’s mysterious ‘quasi moon’ probe, first-ever image revealed

    China has released the first image from its Tianwen 2 spacecraft. The spacecraft is on a mission to collect samples from a quasi-moon. The mission launched on May 29. The spacecraft is already millions of kilometers from Earth. Tianwen 2 will approach Kamo'oalewa in July 2026. Kamo'oalewa is a small asteroid. Scientists believe it may have originated from the Moon.
